01 / The context
The problem behind the project.
An enterprise background-screening platform joined sensitive candidate data, consent, adverse-action rules, external providers, and a continuous release cycle. Correctness included both software behavior and the operating workflow.
02 / The contribution
How I approached it.
- Built the recruiter module on an original declarative UI framework, with maintainability and extension points designed into the application.
- Owned releases from estimation and change requests through QA, production deployment, and dual-server smoke tests.
- Delivered consent and adverse-action workflows, electronic signature capture, personal-data masking, and security-assessment remediation.
- Introduced standing rollback procedures, measured a SQL Server upgrade against real support queries, and completed a structured multi-month handover.
03 / The result
What the work made possible.
Seven years of continuity on the same regulated platform, including product development, operational fixes, integrations, developer onboarding, and a completed handover. A later production recall was resolved in an hour.
