01 / The context
The problem behind the project.
A national accounting practice needed more than a form for entering clients. Its acceptance process joined account relationships, opportunities, origination economics, quality concerns, and partner approvals.
02 / The contribution
How I approached it.
- Built a role-routed, eight-step approval workflow with executable validation for the firm's acceptance and origination rules.
- Returned the expected approval chain and its history through one contract, including plain-English reasons for each participant.
- Derived joins and projections from the database's foreign-key graph, and generated synchronization, validation, and transfer contracts from the same metadata.
- Carried the automation contract across four UI generations and retargeted the product during a practice-management platform migration.
03 / The result
What the work made possible.
The annually licensed product carried the practice's full client- and engagement-acceptance process, recording 8,473 workflows and 21,634 partner decisions. The server contract outlasted the interfaces built on it.
